Moo Moo's in the winter

Baby Charlie was born in a wet spot and didn't get to dry out before the next storm. He spent the night in the warmer and went back to his mother first thing.

This is a water trough that has ice on it--again. It has been the coldest winter in like 25 years. It's pretty bad when were used to -10--15 below. 20 degrees seems like summer (sadly)!

This old curl horn cow is usually at Malta, Idaho so I'm sure she's not loving this deep snow.

This little nest was in the gravel pit. It looks like several deer are laying there for the night. They are enjoying the All-You-Can-Eat buffet of our hay stacks.

Our new hay shed is not big enough.
